গাজায় চলমান মানবিক সংকট আরও ভয়াবহ রূপ নিয়েছে। তীব্র শীত, বিদ্যুৎ সংকট ও যুদ্ধ পরিস্থিতির কারণে একের পর এক শিশুর মৃত্যু ঘটছে, যা বিশ্বজুড়ে গভীর উদ্বেগ তৈরি করেছে।

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has taken a tragic turn. Due to extreme cold, power shortages, and ongoing conflict, infants are dying, shocking the international community.

সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনায় গাজায় আরও একটি নবজাতক শীতের কারণে মারা গেছে। এটি গত কয়েক মাসে শীতজনিত কারণে মৃত্যুবরণ করা চতুর্থ ফিলিস্তিনি শিশু বলে জানা গেছে।

In the latest incident, another newborn baby died from freezing temperatures in Gaza. Reports say this is the fourth Palestinian infant to die due to cold weather in recent months.

বিদ্যুৎ ও জ্বালানি সংকট এই মৃত্যুর প্রধান কারণ। গাজায় বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ প্রায় বন্ধ থাকায় হাসপাতাল ও ঘরবাড়িতে হিটার বা ইনকিউবেটর চালানো সম্ভব হচ্ছে না।

Power and fuel shortages are the main reasons behind these deaths. With electricity largely cut off, hospitals and homes cannot run heaters or incubators to protect newborns.

শিশুটির পরিবার জানিয়েছে, পর্যাপ্ত কম্বল ও উষ্ণ পরিবেশের অভাবে শিশুটিকে বাঁচানো যায়নি। রাতের তাপমাত্রা হঠাৎ করে অনেক নিচে নেমে যাওয়ায় পরিস্থিতি আরও ভয়াবহ হয়।

The baby’s family said they could not save the child due to a lack of blankets and warm shelter. Sudden drops in night temperatures made the situation even more deadly.

গাজায় বসবাসরত লাখো মানুষ এখন অস্থায়ী তাঁবু বা ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত ঘরে থাকতে বাধ্য হচ্ছে। এসব আশ্রয়ে শিশু ও বৃদ্ধরা সবচেয়ে বেশি ঝুঁকির মধ্যে রয়েছে।

Millions of people in Gaza are now living in tents or damaged homes. Infants and elderly people are the most vulnerable in these unsafe shelters.

আন্তর্জাতিক মানবাধিকার সংস্থাগুলো এই ঘটনাকে “মানবিক বিপর্যয়” বলে আখ্যা দিয়েছে। তারা অবিলম্বে মানবিক সহায়তা ও বিদ্যুৎ সরবরাহ পুনরুদ্ধারের আহ্বান জানিয়েছে।

International human rights organizations have called this a “humanitarian catastrophe.” They are urging immediate aid deliveries and restoration of power supplies.

বিশেষজ্ঞরা সতর্ক করেছেন, শীতকাল চলতে থাকলে শিশুমৃত্যুর সংখ্যা আরও বাড়তে পারে। খাদ্য, চিকিৎসা ও জ্বালানি সংকট একসঙ্গে পরিস্থিতিকে আরও ভয়াবহ করে তুলছে।

Experts warn that if winter continues under these conditions, more infant deaths are likely. Shortages of food, medicine, and fuel are worsening the crisis.

গাজার এই পরিস্থিতি আবারও বিশ্বকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দিচ্ছে যুদ্ধের সবচেয়ে নিষ্ঠুর প্রভাব শিশুদের ওপর পড়ে। অবিলম্বে কার্যকর পদক্ষেপ না নিলে মানবিক বিপর্যয় আরও গভীর হবে।

The situation in Gaza once again shows that children suffer the most in war. Without urgent action, the humanitarian disaster is expected to deepen further.
